Clinical Neuroimaging
The Clinical Neuroimaging Center at the Jacobs Neurological Institute is a multidisciplinary program incorporating multiple imaging modalities towards establishing the highest possible levels of diagnostic accuracy in the evaluation of Neurological symptoms and disease. Imaging studies evaluated by our staff include MRI, PET and SPECT, with applications across a wide spectrum of disease categories including multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, dementia, movement disorders, stroke and neurooncology. Our collaborative arrangements with Neuroradiology and Kaleida Hospitals provides rapid access to complementary Neuroimaging modalities including vascular ultrasound and high resolution CT. The scientific mission of our program is implemented through our second major division, the Buffalo Neuroimaging Analysis Center, a world class facility and center of excellence for MRI research.
